The Alpha Testing Program offers you the opportunity to be among the very first to test the Alpha versions of our new products and features.

The Early Adopter Program (EAP) allows you to use our newest products while still in their Beta version.
Beta products are almost complete with finishing touches being added based on customer feedback before the ultimate launch. By participating in the EAP you are able to benefit from our newest products early on while delivering feedback to improve the final product.

Available Alpha Tests
Payroll API
Start: January
The Payroll API allows you to access and leverage compensation data previously not exposed for uses outside Personio. In its alpha state, the API allows you to create and retrieve compensation data from Personio.
Seats for the test are limited. Personio will select participants. More information can be found in this article. The test is ongoing and open for registration.

Xero Payroll Integration
We are building a new integration with Xero payroll for the UK market. This integration will enable seamless data transfer from Personio to Xero, ensuring information is always up to date on both systems. Alpha participation is available for both customers who are using Xero to process payroll and those who are interested in implementing Xero as a payroll provider.

A3innuva integration
We are building a new integration with a3innuva for the Spanish market. This integration will enable seamless transfer of employee and contract data from Personio to a3innuva, ensuring information is always up to date on both systems. Alpha participation is available for both customers who are using a3innuva to process payroll and those who are interested in implementing a3innuva as a payroll provider.
Seats are limited. Personio will select participants and provide more information via email following registration.

New API endpoints for employee data
Start: Mid-April
The Person and Employment API allows you to access and leverage personal and contractual data of your employees. In the first stage, you can retrieve data from Personio. With the second stage we'll enable updating data with an increased scope compared to our current employee endpoints.

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to try out our latest features before the global release and welcome your feedback. We will display you an in-app notification in Personio once the functionalities are enabled for your account.
Test Participation Conditions
Personio grants the participating Company a limited-term, non-exclusive, sub-licensable and non-transferable license to access and use the new Personio-Version internally during the respective testing period.
The participating Company shall in return provide Personio its testing evaluation as well as any further information related to its testing result. The participating Company therefore grants Personio the non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable and royalty-free right to use these testing evaluations and any related information without restriction to improve or enhance the Personio-Version.
The participating Company acknowledges that all information (including but not limited to its existence, design, performance capabilities and any evaluation and test results) which is provided in relation with the testing of this Personio-Version contain trade secrets according to the German Trade Secret Protection Act (GeschGehG) and shall be treated confidential and thus may not be passed on to third parties.
The participating Company further agrees and acknowledges that such Personio-Version will be provided “as is” for evaluation purposes only, to which extent Personio shall have no obligation to provide the same support services as to the remaining Personio Software. Personio may, however, offer separate support services at its discretion. Thus the participating Company agrees to use the required due diligence while testing this Personio-Version and take appropriate precautions to ensure the integrity of its data. Any liability for damages resulting from this testing will exclusively be governed by Section 9.3 GTC Personio.
The testing period automatically ends latest upon commercial release of such Personio-Version.
